What is CASA?

Court Appointed Special Advocates® (CASAs) are community volunteers, just like you, who speak up for abused and/or neglected children.

Our CASA program belongs to a network of nearly 950 community-based programs that recruit, train and support citizen-volunteers to advocate for the best interests of abused and/or neglected children in courtrooms and communities.

Young Professionals Network Non-Profit Night

Washoe CASA Foundation at YPN Non-Profit Night

The Washoe CASA Foundation was invited to attend the second annual Non-Profit night.  We joined nearly 70 other non-profits at South 40 in Reno to share our messages of community service with each other and attendees.  We were there to recruit ever-needed volunteers.  Many valuable connections were made, especially those that will help us to better serve our volunteer crew.  Thank you to YPN for the invitation, the connections and the fun! We look forward to joining you next year!
