The Washoe CASA Foundation was pleased and honored to be invited to the first annual Helix Electric Charity Golf Tournament hosted at the Wolf Run Golf Course in Reno. Over 100 golfers spent a warm day on the course, supporting the WCF, Reno Ice and the Nevada Humane Society. Games were played, raffle tickets sold and beverages consumed! Board members, Colton Loretz and Jodie Black, along with intern Sven Peterson had fun greeting each foursome and bending their ears about WCF's mission. At lunch, the featured charities spoke to the group and gave thanks for being the beneficiaries of the generosity of Helix Electric. Mr. James Wirth won the WonderBoom Speaker from our raffle. Event organizer, Frank Farina and all of his wonderful staff and volunteers were so helpful and delightful! Thanks to Frank, Debbie, Katie, Jess, Erica and everyone who made our day so abundant! We look forward to a long and rewarding partnership with the excellent people at Helix Electric. WCF extends a huge thank you to Papa Murphy's (Lemmon Drive, Reno) for the donation of all the drinks and snacks we provided to golfers!
